eCard

1. These Terms and Conditions apply to use of the Dymocks eCard which has been issued by Dymocks Franchise Systems (NSW) Pty Limited (“Dymocks”).

2. eCards can only be redeemed at participating Dymocks Stores or online at www.dymocks.com.au

4. eCards issued before 31 March 2018 are valid for use for 12 months from the date of issue. eCards issued after this date will have a 3 year validity. It is the cardholder’s responsibility to use the full value within the validity period. Any unused amount after the expiry date of this card will not be refunded or credited.

5. Purchases exceeding the eCard’s available balance require the difference to be paid by other methods.

6. This eCard is non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or to purchase further gift cards from Dymocks.

7. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or returned. Dymocks accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or destruction of this eCard.

8. eCards cannot be reloaded. No further value may be added to it.

9. The customer is liable for all transactions on the eCard except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence by Dymocks or any of its employees.

10. No booklover points are earned on the purchase of eCards but they are earned on redemption of eCards.

11. Purchase or use of this eCard constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

12. Dymocks reserves the right to change any term contained in these Terms and Conditions where the change is required:

• to add or remove participating stores at which the eCard may be redeemed, or the goods and/or services which may be purchased using the eCard; 
• to comply with all relevant laws, acts, ordinances, rules, regulations, other delegated legislation, codes and the requirements and directions of any relevant Commonwealth, State or Local Government Departments, bodies and public authorities, in force from time to time;
• for reasonable operational, administrative, compliance or corporate governance reasons, or to prevent the occurrence of fraud or other unlawful, unethical or unacceptable conduct; or
• where Dymocks, acting reasonably, considers that it will not cause detriment to the customer.

13. These Terms and Conditions are to be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from your purchase or use of a eCard are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
